I would appreciate a detailed troubleshooter in help guide on the website, along with a dictionary of sorts. I'm not sure I know what a "thread" is, and while I think I've figured it out, out of respect for you all and your time, I'd rather know for certain than to guess. Also, I don't really know what the plug-ins do. Again, I think I have enough gray cells to figure it out, but who knows how much time it will take to get them (the gray cells) up and running? And I had some basic issues with adding playlists (what is your definition of a playlist? Is it individual albums/assorted tunes compiled into an album, or is it the one, long window filled with tunes that I've created?

I searched the help files and the website for help last night after spending hours figuring out what I'd been doing wrong loading files, e.g.:
I dragged and dropped 300 music files, only to find that they had disappeared from the playlist when I went looking for them. I'm still not sure what I did wrong, but I did get the problem solved.
Today I'm going to try to figure out how to create separate playlists, so that all of my files are not in one, rather lengthy, window. I've read the help pages a couple of times, and I'm sure that you all who are into players way more than I, think the instructions are plain as day, but for those of us who still struggle with computer basics, we need Q-Instructions For Idiots And Others Who Don't Have A Clue. For example:
when, after adding my music files into the Player, I naturally clicked to "save". My music folder popped up as the suggested place to park the playlist and I say, "ok"; whereupon a note showed up to tell me that there was already a file with the same name there. Since this subject is not covered in the Troubleshooter, ("what to do if you get this message" or "this is what stupid thing you did to get this message"), I either figured it out, or dropped the subject. I can't remember which, because by this time, I was bug-eyed and frustrated, so I said good-night to Q. This morning I actually got my files to play, but only because the Music Faery decided to help and pressed some button behind my back. Thank you Music Faery. Thank you all for listening. :cross-eye

A playlist is a 'long window filled with tunes' that you have added.

Haha, to make multiple playlists, simply add your tracks to an empty playlist, save it, then remove them (select them all (control+A works a treat), then hit the delete key, or right click the selected tracks and click remove), then add some different tracks to this list, then go to save it, but this time make sure you save it under a different filename. To open these playlists, simply go to open and select these playlist files you saved, select the one you want to open, and click open.

My music folder popped up as the suggested place to park the playlist and I say, "ok"; whereupon a note showed up to tell me that there was already a file with the same name there. This error message means that you already saved a playlist with the same name, probably because you just clicked OK without changing the filename.

To play a file, once added to the playlist, double click the file in the playlist, click it once and then hit enter, right click the file, and select play, then click play from here or play selected, or select the file and click the play button ( looks kinda like |>).
