After installing version 410 QCD said I don't have enough memory to play a song. It worked before that and my computer didn't change. 411 gets the same error. The last version worked last night. Has anyone had this problem. I like this player and don't really want to switch players, but I wil lhave to ig I can't get this resolved soon.
Thanks in advance!!

I haven't seen this reported before... It might be easier to help you if you list what operation system you are running and maybe how much RAM. (Since it says it runs out of memory...)

is there anything else on your system that changed? have you tried a reboot?

I swapped out the lower end Soundblaster for a Soundblaster Live and that cured it. I knew it wasn't really a memory issue because like I said the system hadn't changed at all. The program must have just not liked my sound driver. I was changing sound cards anyway because the POS I had before didn't even have a game port.
I just thought maybe someone had heard of the problem before.
Thanks for the replies!

I have my mom's computer at her office running QCD 3.90 with a kick ass SoundBlaster 64 PCI and it runs pretty good.:D
Well it might be she only uses that computer for Word, Excel and email...
Anyways, you should be happy now thatyou switched to a higher end soundcard and have QCD working like a charm
Personal Reminder: visit mom's office to update QCD...:o
