Adding folders replaces current playlist

I have been having this problem where QCD Player is closed and then I right click a track or a folder and hit add to QCD Player. The problem is that it opens QCD and replaces the current playlist. I have the options set to Append to playlist

Do you have the option 'Restore previous playlist on startup' selected, under Settings>Playlists?

This is designed behavior. My thought was that if QCD is closed and you do an action to launch QCD, you don't really care what used to be in the player and are more concerned for the current action.

I think if I changed this assumption, I would get more requests for the old way.

Gotcha, is it possible to have this as another option to select if you want it on or off?
I was used to how it once was where it would continuously add the songs to the end of the playlist regardless of if QCD was closed or open
