Tag editor snarl

I have the latest official release (4.11) and this is what's happening: I try to edit the tag of an MP3 file and when I click the COMMIT button, the track editor locks up on me. The track continues playing, but I can't activate any buttons...and for that matter, I can't activate any other program windows, either. The only way to solve the problem is to open the CLOSE PROGRAM dialog and kill the task. The kicker is, the tag is properly entered the next time I run the program and load the file. I know that most MP3 programs don't like you to fiddle with the file tag while the file is playing, so maybe that's it, but...just thought I would toss it out there.

Update on the Tag Editor thing...I'm becoming convinced that there is something quirky going on because sometimes I can actually edit the tag while the MP3 is playing. But occasionally, after pressing Commit, the Close button won't work and the file starts to hiccup. Ultimately, the tag changes, but sometimes it will even hop to a different file before the editor closes...?

If the mp3 has no tag, or there is not enough space in the current tag, then QCD must re-write the entire file. If the file is playing at the time, it will be interrupted (and skip to next track). If there is enough space in the tag, QCD will update it in place without interrupting the music.

How much is there space for a tag? I got this huge (350 MB) DJ mixtape to which I try to add the tracklistings to the Comment section, but it won't fit... Anyway to work around this?
