...how do I get this thing to working??

Can someone post a step-by-step instruction?

If your source of covers is your id3 tags, it should already be working.

If you want to load covers from your hard drive, go to amazon.com or allmusic.com and download them to your computer. Then put them in a directory structure such as C:\Covers\*artist name here*\*album name here*.jpg. Set the filename template to match whatever directory structure you set up.

Those are the two easiest ways.

Actually it is but where is the option to add pictures when editing tracks?

Anyway, I managed to add some but on some tracks another picture is shown, (I remember I added those when I used to use MusicMatch - how could that happen ;-) and when I try to change them it just won't show the new pic I've chosen.

And: I've set a new pic as the default one when no cover is available (yes, I checked the box), still some tracks show another cover from the list...

What is most likely happening is that when you're adding a new cover it isn't deleting the old one first, so you have multiple pictures in the tag. I'm just taking the first one. QCD doesn't let you add cover art, you have to use a different program.

I'll do some testing with the no cover available image, thanks for the heads up.
