....yes, those are on the winamp foroum, no, Im not switching to winamp and I probably never will, but I like looking the skin section because there is sometimes a great skin in progress.

going back to the thread....isnt that ridiculous. I never realized the guys at the Skins Factory were such a$$holes.....such ridiculus bs.

just thought some of you might laugh at the stupidity and the most amazing ability to be an a$$hole by the skins factory.

they want to patent a certain technique, but thats impossible since people have done this since the early days of s2....they're working for microsoft, so they're are trying to create a monopoly in the skinnning world....believe me, what they said means nothing....just trying to scare the guy.

Absolutely! They don't even have a patent - they have a 'provisional' which is not enforcable as a patent. I would email them back and say 'once you have a patent, let me see it, and then 'maybe'".

It reminds me of a guy named turtle soup.He made good skins for windowblinds.Then Stardock bought him,and not only he started to sell his skins,but had to serve to the legal rights of stardock in forums,like when a new build was out people claimed it to be bulky and this guy comes out and says that "bulky?,stardock is a super company,they are trying things,improving,how can you say this,mmm..uuu...etc."

by the way I have been searching the skin browser lately..This I-tunes skin uses rounded edges..I was the first one who actually used that in slide gear..so I want you take them down spidercrab,otherwise I have lawyers..mmm...uuu...

Holy crap, I just read the thread again....How old is the TSF guy? He says that you should use a player only because of the skins and hes trying to act like hes the victime. What a moron.....his skins are overly trendy pieces of shiny circle crap....honestly, this has pissed me off the most since Steve Bartman interferred with that god damn blah...what idiots, bartman and TSF!.....Im glad I dont have wimp9 on my computer, so I wouldnt be forced to Microshit to have their skins automatically downloaded....jeez, I just read how he went on bashing the winamp developer who sold the player to Aol....I do it, justin's probably got some good ole fashin moolah now and still gets to create the player (with some interferences) while all the skin factory does is make movie and tv show themed skins for a couple of bucks....i aint using a TSF skin ever again. Ranting done! :mad:

Hey... I quite like the skins. Too bad they're for WMP. Who cares if the guy is being a wacko. Those are nice skins and I would use them if I used WMP. (Back when i used to use WMP, I had a few of his skins.)

I have never bothered in dowloading a skin for Windows Media Player. I think the program is too big for the only task I would use it, which is hearing music, for video I use my standalone DVD or my TV. I have never and don't think I will download video files from Kazaa or some other P2P.

QCD beats WMP and Winamp big time in every aspect and that's it.

Ok, back to the TSF fuss... their skins are pretty cool, I must admit it, it's true they are mostly oval, but they are cool anyways. Too bad they are coding skins for Microsoft. Before this patent mess I would have wished them to develop skins for QCD but with all their patent crap, better them stay away...
