I have an extremly large playlist, 11000 songs, not jokeing, I love QCD and everything it does, but when I open it up it takes like 3 minutes to be able to use it as it loads all the tracks and when I save it as a m3u it takes literaly 10 minutes to complete,

First, what version of QCD are you running?

It's been a problem for a very long time that the saving of current.m3u cuts off various number of tracks from the end of my playlist. By that I mean, when I load QCD, a bunch of files at the end of my playlist are missing.

Don't know about that. There's is nothing in the code that would preempt the saving of a playlist. I can't consider this an issue until I reproduce it or more than one user can actively reproduce it.

Strange. I regularly load up/save large playlists (10 000+) and haven't noticed anything wrong...

Not really sure what the issue is then, I have 4.11, maybe because I have them on a 2nd HD is the issue, but that why I keep them there so I dont lose with a sys rebuild. Is there a way to start qcd with the current playlist there or does it have to scan the directory every time
