Is there any reason that despite have no tick next to manually progess to the next song quid still stops at the end of the song & refuses to play again till I restart it. sometimes it will go for a few songs before this happens. I have got the lastest version. is there an option somewhere i missed?
What format of files are you playing?

WMA using the plug - in I downloaded from here. I noticed it isnt so much the playing as if i select a track myself after that has played then it stops & I cant get it going again.

I'm having similar symptoms with wma files downloaded from the new napster. I'm trying to see if the is a pattern, or clue to explain this. these are of course files that come with DRM.

I have found it tends to be just certain songs but cannot see what makes these songs different to the others. if i know its going to stop i manually jump one now at the end of the song before it finishes and crashs quin
v1.23 of the WMA Input plugin hopefully improves this issue.

I too am having the same problem as lameth and version 1.23 hasn't helped. With a playlist of 12 WMA files with no DRM, sooner or later play stops. Buttons respond but no play. Close QCD and reopen play will resume for a while.

If any of you are still having that problem (even with 1.23), I found that before the fix using the Resumer plug-in and just pressing stop and play again works and resumes the file just where it stopped off.

Thanks for the tip, but alas no better. I guess I'll have to wait for WMA plugin 1.24 ;-) My son's computer acts the same way. He has more MP3s than I do and they work fine. Start playing WMAs and QCD just stops playing after a few tunes.
