Regener8ed's masterpiece...That is what skinning is all about. He maximized qcd's skinning engine. Superb!

I created a red version too, its really quick if you have photoshop:
1) Start Computer:beer:
2) Unzip digipod.qsk file
3)extract files to seperate folder
4) Open Photoshop
5) Open bmp and use the ctrl u to change color. Be careful to not mess to much with saturation because it might mess up the metal of the skin...hard to explain what I mean....Also, be careful not to use hue/saturation where color codes are in the .bmp...it will mess everything up.
6) Zip files as .qsk and Wollah....
Takes about 7 continuous minutes.

Wow that was easy and fast... (Even though I know very little about graphics and skinning) Lets hope regener8d brings out a color pack! (And moves the playlist into the middle like EQ. ;))

That text display is horrible! (CLARIFICATION: I'm mainly referring to readability, not text style.)
That text display is horrible!So is the text in the playlist... Some contrast in the items not highlighted, please! As it is, it is unreadable.

I second this. It would be much clearer if only the text would be shown and not the faint "turned off" bars that turn on when some text appears. God, how do i phrase this?

I love this skin... though there are a few things I'd like to see improved like the text used, and the Playlist being integrated into the actual skin. One thing that bothered me was the way when the EQ was out that above it was just black. It was unattractive, which is the opposite of the rest of the skin. But the skin is ruling me. It's great!
Anyway, Color Schemes would be neat, but I'd rather see other stuff changed/improved. I made mine a nice Red-Orange and did a quick fix on the black bar/background that bothered me.

This is truely an awesome skin! The expanding animation is really sweet and really adds to an already great skin. Good job!

'cuz i likes it that way. don't see red too often. i'll get around to the blues and greens.

It looks nice, but I thought you would go for a tannish color for twisted realmz, just curiousity.

oh, that. i've actually been intending a black and red skin for the realmz much longer than the current site design has been around. (black and red seems a more macabre combination to me) so that's actually where the idea for red started..

P.S.: no, i'm not going to change my skins - but adjustments to the contrast of the font can be easily made with some changes to the charset.ini. there are two charset.bmp's for the font - one is much stronger than the other. simply remove the "_50" from the declarations in the charset.ini to make it use the heavier font.
in other words:
charset_d9.bmp = high contrast
charset_d9_50.bmp = low contrast
