Does anyone know of any software that will tell you what url any given application is connected to?

I'm asking because I discovered QCD will play Real Audio streams but only if you find a "hidden" url. Any "listen now" urls I would try to copy and paste into QCD didn't work. But I opened those in Media Player Classic and they worked. I then copied the url from Media Player Classic and pasted a completely different url into QCD. This one worked.

What I'm hoping is to be able to open up Real or a browser based player and get the url that they're getting the stream from.

I thought maybe a fire wall could do theis but Zone Alarm didn't.

well... yes

"Kerio Personal Firewall" shows you every open Connection...
so if i open/refresh www.orf.at(the news-page of the austrian TV) my FireWalls shows me about 4 or 5 entrys, that i'm connecting to www.orf.at
it shows me the Port, the protocoll, the URL, which type the URL is (http, shtp, ftp, etc.) and some more useless info ;-D

just look here : --> Kerio Connection Info (http://www.kerio.com/img/kpf_conn_info_big.png) <--- ^_^

so i think, it will you show you the URL of the Stream your connected to with QCD too !
and every other MediaPlayer too ! ^_-

just give it a try !

well... hope it helps a bit...

silent greets ^_^

p.S:
this stream : http://www.digitallyimported.com/mp3/chillout96k.pls
gives shows my this URL in my FireWall-Configuration : 64.236.34.97 with Port 2558
but if i try to add this to QCD (http://64.236.34.97:2558) it doesnt works...
so... erm... i'm confused... bleh :puzzled:
