Herewith, as the title suggests, is a Goofy Skin Idea.
Imagine a skin that looked like a cassette tape. Not a cassette deck, but a plain old, say, Maxell 90 minute tape (surely you remember these). But like twice the size, so it would look really striking in the middle of the desktop.
During playback, the little wheels in the tape would turn. And instead of a sliding progress bar, the progress would be indicated by the "tape" on the right side gaining uptake, and lessening on the left. Just like on a cassette.
I'm not seriously REQUESTING this - it'd be just a novelty, and inherently not super-functional - (and probably hard to have all that animation going on). Just something I thought of as I sit here avoiding cleaning my apartment.
