I read the other recent thread reagarding crashing using the new MP4 plug in. My issue is similar in that it involves the MP4 plugin but dis similar in that QCD will crash with any and all MP4 files when I try to use the new plug in. It will also crash when the new plug in is installed but not active, as well as crashing when there is an MP4 file in the play list. Fortunatly I can install a previous version as a work around, however I am still curious as to why this might be happening and if anyone has any new insight. I have recently did a clean re install of windows so this install of QCD is fresh as well. FYI I'm running XP with all updates, 512 meg of ram, AMD 2500+.
