Skin Development Problem - Mapping

I'm makin' this, skin, right? Well. I've added extensions in with the applicable colours and the main body loads fine, but the background, i.e body.bmp, does not load for the other extensions. Well, it does, but it only loads where a control is placed on the map. The remainder is transparent until it is moved, where it keeps the desktop of that part until minimised.

Can anyone help me in this? It's really annoying and rather confusing.

You'll notice Asilus attached in a rather bedraggled state. I think I'm trying to do too much at once, but if it would ever work it would be good.

If you can help, that would be more than great. If there is a word for that.

Anyway. I'm tired and annoyed at technology. I wish the new development docs would come out.

actually, it was more like 2 hours to fix. I was afk most of the day. :evolved:

So out of curiosity, what was the problem?

1. more extensions than buttons that open/close them.
2. it was missing the ExtBtnSet.bmp

Thanks. I was thinking that I had run into that problem before - when the extensions don't show their background from the body.bmp. I ran into it yesterday again when I was converting an older format skin to a newer format with extensions. It turned out to be the missing extbtnset.bmp - Photoshop apparently thought it would be a good idea to toss in the word 'copy' in the name of the file for some odd reason!

when you are saving with layers it tries to save as a 'imagename' copy.blah (blah = .bmp, .jpg....etc.) if I remember correctly. I've done that myself too many times to count.
