When left at the tiny sizes reserved for them in most qcd skins, it is not a problem.
But on using the big 'Phazyme' skin it became very apparent visuals take really too much of my CPU.
QCD itself consumes 0-2 %, with a visual of the size in that skin it already jumps to 30-50. Switch off the vis, and it's back to normal.
Size a visual to more than a quarter of a 1152x870 screen and it almost completely hogs the machine.
Well, who wants to do anything besides playing mp3s..? eh, that would be me.
1800/512 athlon with a g-force 5200, running w2K.
Cheers! (I wouldn't drink it)
