I installed QCD 4.10 on a Win98 machine for a friend. This was the first time that QCD was installed on this system.
I set it up and went through a quick tutorial showing how to create, save and load playlists. However, I could not get QCD to find any loaded playlists that it had previously saved. I pointed the playlist folder to c:\My Music, and then saved an m3u playlist to the same location. However, using explorer to view c:\My Music, there was no m3u file. I must have spent 20 minutes trying to figure this out and my friend lost interest and said he would continue to use winamp.
I can only assume that there is a problem somewhere here. I have never seen this behaviour before. Anyone else seeing this?
