Ive gotten really into my cell/mobile phone: Sony Ericsson T616....I dont know why I like it so much, its probably because of all its awesome features like the bluetooth, camera, themes, and did I mention it was dead sexy :D :D http://www.sonyericsson.com/us/spg.jsp?page=start
....so do you guys have a cell phone, if yes then what?
yeah that is a sweet phone you have chicubs. My girlfriend works at a cellular store and she gets to bring home all these crazy phones. She has had that for hte past few weeks... very very nice. The camera doesn't take very nice photos.. but hell its a camera in your phone!!
I have a SE T310.. does the job pretty well. I dig polyphonic ring tones. Currently I am using 'Old_phone' :)

t310 is quite nice just missing the 65k screen and camera...and maybe some of the t610s looks, buts its still a pretty advanced phone....lol, I was shocked when I went to buy a new phone and I discovered a lot of phone had color and cameras, and so on. I was stunned, I was reallly behind with phones.

LOL !! :D
I'm using a Samsung Color. I can't find the model number... I think color is the generic advertising name here. Damn sexy phone, even when I don't use half of its features...

I never talk on the real phone... A celly would do me no good.I'm with you, Twig. I work from home on my computer so if I'm not in my house I don't want to be reached. I would end up smashing that little digital ball-and-chain against a tree (that seems poetic).
But, in all fairness, when I'm out with cell-carrying friends and I need to make a call, I always think "damn, this thing is cool...and handy" as I'm dialing the number. :D

I have an old Ericsson that really needs to be replace. I have no normal phone so its quite a necessity for me to have a cell phone.

Yes, I have an old Nokia 3310. I am pretty satisfied with it, since it fulfills my only needs in a cell phone (talking and sending SMS).

I have an old Nokia 6190...
A friend of mine borrowed a 3310 and put his SIM Card in it (I think, the one that lets you compose and send custom ringtones) and typed me up Pretender Got My Heart by Alisha's Attic and sent it to me.
Now, if I change phone, I won't have access to that song anymore because the site that had the numbers for Alisha's Attic songs is no longer there.
I have no reason to switch for now...

Nope, I don't have a cell phone. I'm kind of torn, though, because on one hand I love electronics and gadgets (especially electronic gadgets!), but on the other I hate talking on the phone. I have a Pocket PC that I absolutely love, but the versions with the phone capabilities are too big, too old, and have crappy screens. I'd like to try out that new MS/Motorola smartphone, though. It would be interesting to see how it stacks up against my PPC when it comes to applications.

I would like to have one, but I think the main reason I haven't acquired one yet is because there are so many different models to choose from, and I haven't settled on what features I would really want/need. Besides which, they keep improving them and I always feel like maybe I should just wait or something. I think I would probably be happy with a basic Nokia, though. Simple black faceplate (maybe a rubberized one?).

i don't have a fancy shmancy one... just a nokia 2100. good for voice calls and a lot of sms messages.
Don't have one, don't want one.
I **like** being out of touch - no one bugs me. The only use I have for a cell is calling CAA...
My wife of course carries one with the ear attachment (it's a Samsung) - upon seeing it for the first time, I immediately assigned her the name "Vilma of Borg".
Well, there is the odd time I go cruising around the shops and see something interesting that's audio related which immediately prompts me to want to call my best bud and Fellow Audio Cohort Stephane, but those incidences are few and far between. Usually if the trip is remotely audio related, he's with me. :)

I hate cell phones but I keep one in the car in case of emergency, which to me is the only legitimate use for one. I hate talking on the phone so I would never use it for regular conversation; the quality is horrible anyway (I have never had a reasonable experience with one, on either end.) I can't stand seeing people talking on their phones in public. I want to rip it out of their hand and make them swallow it.

lol, yah, I hate hearing people's life stories. What I dont understand is why people have to be SO damn loud on their cell phone. I mean you are right next to the speaker....jeez.

I'm from Singapore. Market penetration of cell phones is incredible here. Children with ages in the single digits own cell phones. That said, I own a relatively ancient Nokia 6210, pretty ironic considering I work in a company developing MMS applications and content.

I have SE T310 too with camera MCA-30 from few days. I am very happy with that phone, nice ringtons, themes and of course my favorite - mophun games :)). In my opinion photos from MCA-30 camera are not that very bad if you use good lighting.

So do they here...
And as well, I have also an 6210. Could really use one with a decent calendar, though. From thing to another, my geography teacher claimed that Nokia would have developed this phone that you can write those chinese symbols/alphabets with. First in the world. This can't real, can it?

btw if you have a bluetooth phone go here to the software: http://sourceforge.net/projects/fma ....im not sure but it might have to be a bluetooth enabled Sony Ericsson phone.
