A few questions...

This may be a dumb question, but I want to encode some tracks off a CD, how do I select only certain ones? Like say I want track 1, 3, 5 and 7. It only seems to allow me to select ONE track at a time or ALL of them to encode at once. I right click on the player window it shows all the tracks, I then right click on the track(s) to find the encode menu. Am I doing this the right way?

Lately, I have been getting the following popup:

Network Error:
Make Sure your internet settings are correct in QCD?

What's up with that, never had it before.

Just single-click the tracks you want to encoding in the encoder list. The tracks marked with the red square will be encoded.

Check your Proxy settings that they are correct, or appropriately empty (Prefs->Settings).

Wow, that's one way to do encoding (right-clicking on QuickTrack menu items). I impressed you stumbled across that method above others.

There are better ways:
- Open the Encoder window (on default skin click red record button on main window - others skins may not have encoder). Using this window is the simplest way
- Open playlist, load CD into playlist, use Control+clicking to select tracks to encode. Right-click a selected tracks and choose 'Convert->convert selected'.

I'll give that a try, Thanks! In a future version do you think you will update that so users have the option of selecting inside the QuickTrack? I guess I'm a weird thinker, but I like working within that QuickTrack. :D

I am doing like this in playlist window on deafult skin:
i'm using ctrl+left muse button for each song i wanna convert (for bookmark), then i click right mouse button on one of them and i select from menu "convert>convert selected to" and off we go :)
p.s. sorry for my poor english :P
