and you can play around with them...
just to open bigger rings with buttons to see the Playlist, the EQ or the Video-Window

I have vacation now, so I do plan on working on it. The small gray circle will have stop, rewind, ff, open. The main blue half circle will have basic artist info, minimize, close, volume. The top gray will be a lot of extention buttons. Hopefully I can start this soon.

Also, when Im finished, if anyone is willing to do just the mapping that would be great.

Dont worry, except maybe for some fold outs and the seperate playlist thats how big its gonna be. Im playing with the idea of having the skin being able to have a mode where its only the play/stop/open/ff/rewind buttons.

One little thing, the Prev/Next button should be on the sides and the Stop and Eject buttons should be at the top and bottom, so the separation of each button should be at the "45" angles instead...

If it were up to me, i'd change the colours of the whole thing, because that way each colour mode is unique. Also i'm not sure whether otherwise some colour modes will look nice, regarding the colour combination of the outer ring compared to the QCD buttons inside. Of course, in the end it's up to you to decide. Good luck! :cool:

No. You'd have to change the whole thing, colourwise. Like Hanzo, I'm not in any rush for green either :cheeky:

BTW, that style you're going for is similar to modern BMW's, exterior & interior. Flame-surfacing, I think it's called. The ones designed by the great Chris Bangle. Could do worse than look there for some more inspiration.

I'm not a big fan of square playlists that don't go with the player, that just float off to the side. If you're going to have it off the player and draggable... Any way we could see the playlist indent on the bottom left side (or anywhere) in a sort of circle, so if you wanted to put the two together, the circle would kind of fit into the playlist?

Just something I notice on a lot of skins. But it's yours, do anything! I'm just glad to see it get back on track!
