Hello all. I am a very new user of the QP and like it alot. One feature that I am looking for is something that the Windows Media player does. It tracks the number of times a particular song is played in a playlist. It's kind of neat to be able to see after a few weeks of playing a playlist randomly, how many times I've listened to certain songs. Does QP track this and if not, can it be added in the future? :)

Thanks,

Rob

I know it keeps track of the total number of tracks played in Q Tips and Tricks, but that's not what you want. I don't think there is such an option. Perphaps in the Extended Info... but I doubt it.

If my suggestion of adding a scoring system into QCD (like the one in WMP right now) this could be easily added.

I think it is a cool feature to rank the music you have, also very handy.
You could create a playlist from your highest ranked music (like you can currently do on WMP) and so on.

I'm thinking this belogs to the Media Library so many people has asked for.

how about having a scoring system integrated straight into the playlist display.
For instance, holding down a certain hotkey and hovering over a track in the playlist displays a star based scoring system as that track. So to change the score of a song all you would have to do is hold a key down (maybe shift or alt), hover over a song with the mouse and click the star rating you think its worth.

If the stars (or whatever other symbol) are to be added I think they should be skinnable and ready to be clicked from the playlist. A hot key can be added too, why not?

Nice suggestion...
