Help with images

I've been trying to answer some posts by including an image. I just haven't got the hang of it. Can anyone out there talk me through the steps involved? I have a program called "HoverSnap", I can take an image of my screen, but can't transfer it to my replies or posts. I would also like to be able to pick certain portions of the screen to use as images. Not the hyperlink type, but the actual image that all you guys and gals seem to know how to create :o :o.

Below the smilies on the post entry form is the 'Additional Options' section. Here you will find the 'Manage Attachments' button, which will allow you to import images and other files for inclusion in your post. Be advised that images are limited to 500 pixels wide. There is also a file size restriction, but if you are using JPEGs that meet the pixel restriction there should be no problem. HTH :)
