Track Selected Font Colour

Hi,

I made the recent addition Asilus and I'm updating as per comments on the skin's page. I was also asked to make the selected track (i.e. the one shown after surfing) easier to make out among the others. For this purpose (and if I ever want to do it in another skin), how do I stop QCD from making paler the font colour? Is that what happens, or is it something wrong with my code?

you can set this yourself in the charset.ini file in the [TrackSelectedFont] section. i would recommend getting Lich's charset.ini template. i had to add .txt to get it to upload, so you'll have to remove it. This is part of Lich's Skin Start Sources but someone will have to post the link for his website since I can't find it anywhere.

That helps a lot for other stuff, but it still turns my colour=0,0,0 to 120,120,120 when you select the track. Any idea why this happens?

It adds a opaque box over it, that is pecified in Trackset.bmp. You can change the transparency level in skinkid.ini if I remember right.
