I don't know about everyone else, but I love QuickTrack. I use it all the time.
I would really like to see a QuickTrack entry as the first item in the Taskbar button's context menu.
Or, even better, an option to have the normal context menu only show up on the Systray icon and have a right-click on the Taskbar button take you straight to your QuickTrack listings. This would be absolutely awesome.
I can dream, can't I? :D You can't take that away from me.
You can set QuickTrack as one of the tray icon click options. See Preferences->Settings->Tray Icon.

There's one little glitch though.
I have QT set up to display Artist\Album, when bringing up QT from the tray, select an artist in the far right collumn, the album is displayed to the left of the far left collumn.
I tried adding an extra collumn, but it didn't help. (I guess the fifth collumn won't show until it's needed (?) )

Oh man, that's cool. I overlooked that somehow when I tweaked the tray icon. QuickTrack at my beckon call with one click of the middle mouse button. Thanks, Paul.

Here is how my QuickTrack is setup: (Maybe this will help you.)
Show Album Names
Sort by: Artist / Album / Track #
Seperate popup for each Artist & Album
Menu Rows = 40
Menu Columns = 5
If that doesn't help you, try explaining your problem again. I'd like to help you but, like I said, I don't quite understand what's wrong.

Hi Orange?
I have the same config of qt as you.
Take a look at the screenie.
The artist "Thin Lizzy" i selected far right, but the album pop up on the far left.

I have the same problem. My workaround was to configure the QT to only show 1 column and use the More menu at the bottom to get the next batch.
I wouldn't be surprised if this was a Windows bug...
Just tried and it does it on XP (I usually listen to my big playlists at work so I only experienced the bug on ME so far) but it does it in XP too. So it may not be Windows's fault.

Ok, lynott, I now understand your problem exactly. I have encountered this same problem before. Like MrZebra said, you can limit your number of columns to 1 and that seems to work. But what I usually do is this: (This may not work for you...but it suits me fine on my system)
Assuming you have QuickTrack associated with your right mouse button on the tray icon, right click (or whatever command you use) on the tray icon and quickly move your mouse to the leftmost side of the screen. If you can move to the left before the quickmenu displays then you will be in luck. At least until you add too many artists into your playlist for this trick to work.
I know this isn't the most perfect workaround you could ask for, but it works for me. I hope it works for you too. Let me know.

I guess that what is happening is that if another column was added it won't fit on the desktop.
The suggestion by the Orange dude works for me too.:D
