selecting a song file

In Winamp, you could have used the eject button to open an "open file" dialog, to select a song file (mp3 etc) to play.
i can't seem to find a similar option for this in QCD. the only way to do it is to open a parallel file explorer window and double click the song file i want to listen to ?

Click the eject button and select 'replace playlist' - same as eject in winamp. If you just want to add or remove files, those controls are all on the playlist section.
