Hello Everyone! I am a total beginner and new to the community. currently I am struggling with my first skin attempt and trying to learn how to use paint shop pro, photoshop, and paint all at the same time!....lol Are these programs capable making skins? do I need any special plugins? or completely different software? Any input and help would be most greatly appriciated! I can't wait to learn how to make these kickin' skins you guys create! Thanks Everyone, MYSTICRHYTHMS

First thing you ought to do is go to devzone and get 'Skin Development Doc' That should help you to gety started.

Photoshop or PSP are what I'd recommend you to use. Paint won't do nothing those other two doesn't. You don't need any plug-ins or stuff like that.

Feel free to ask if you have any specific questions.

I Did get the skin development doc before I began, most of my problems are just not being familiar with the two programs to get them to do what I want them to, and figuring out how to do the map and body at the same time wheew!

forget the map, finish the body first, except remember that qcd does not have anti-aliased edges....With your photoshop problems all I can recommend is tutorials which we have a thread on.

TY I will take a look at those tutorials and I am trying to make use of the Program help files and tutorials as well
