They have that quick reply -function which I've found very handy. They sem to be using vBulletin too, so would be possible to get that function here too?

In the old version of the web site, this function was used, but was removed when the website was updated...

I'm bumping this extremely old thread. I find that quick reply is a useful feature.

There's a reply box at the bottom of every thread.

o, i get it. while it might be useful, i think it might backfire. it would be too easy to say something that is useless. now, if u want to say something, it better be worth a few mouse clicks. even though its usually not, imagine what could happen if u made responding too easy.

I figured this is why it is not used more too.

Every forum I've been to has it.... Or atleast has an option so that prople that want it can use it..... Doesn't really bother me that this one doesn't have on though.... The Reply page loads fairly quickly.....

I'm not too crazy about em myself. They tend to increase the number of useless 'me too' posts, and posts with little or no thought put into them. Signal to noise ratio tends to suffer.

actually, I don't think this forum needs a quick reply function... if you don't know what you were replying on, just look below the edit field, there you can see a part of the thread you respond to... ;)

By the time I get to my keyboard after clicking on it, it's ready for the input. Of course I'm a little slower than you guys (In more ways than one), I'm sure.

Most of Them are.... But Winamps Forums are the same as this one.... And they have it.... But those people pick on each other to much.....

the quick reply means that there is an edit box below the page in which you can start typing your reply right away.
