As the subject line says... Is there a way that I can use QCD to convert an Ogg file into an MP3, or can I only do it with CD Audio?

I believe you can if you drag the *.wav file into the encoder window...

Just right-click on your Ogg files in the playlist and select the convert option.

Keep in mind that by converting OGGs to MP3s, you will lose quality.

If it's to play on a portable player that doesn't support OGG, then you should reencode from your original CDs.

If you don't have the original CDs, make the MP3 bitrate at least double that of the original Ogg file so that the quality loss is not too bad.

I grew up on Cindy Lauper LPs (what a child of the '80s). I am the last person who can complain about quality. Well, I burned the converted MP3s to a CD and the quality sounds just fine to me. Eh.

That's what technology about. As long as you are happy with it, then technology has achieved it's goal.
