Anyone know if a FLAC plug-in will be made? I'd be pretty cool to have all these encoders for QCD. I'm tired of using seperate apps for ripping, encoding, transcoding, ect. And I don't want to use EAC, cause I'm used to using Nero for basically everything besides encoding. LAME works great, and I presume the Ogg plugin is great too. Now it's time for a FLAC plugin.... ;)

If what you meant is a FLAC input plug-in, just check here! (http://www.quinnware.com/list_plugins.php?plugin=35).
If what you meant is a FALC encoder plug-in for QCD. please try this (http://www.quinnware.com/list_plugins.php?plugin=82) one.

Do I have to install the seperate encoder files? If so, where could I find them?

Should be able to get most codecs/encoders off the rarewares (http://rarewares.hydrogenaudio.org/) site. look at the lossless (http://rarewares.hydrogenaudio.org/lossless.html) section for FLAC.

Which files do I actually need? I see many files for each encoder in rar files. Do I have to extract everything, or just specific files?

Try this latest one compiled from CVS
Click to download (http://rarewares.hydrogenaudio.org/files/flac-CVS.zip)

unzip this zip file and get the flac.exe--this is the encoder what you want to.
