QCD video icon files won't go away...

When I first tried QCD video player I associated several video files with it. However I later installed another player and associated the file with it (classic media player) but the files remained with qcd's icon (although if I double click them they won't open with it).
In "Folder Options > File Types" the video files in question show up with the classic media player icon and are associated with it.

It's a very very minor asthetic bug but still... QCD has accostumed me to excellence :) lol

Under Preferences->Icons, clicking Refresh Icons usually does the trick. Be warned, it may rearrange your desktop icons.

Thanks for the reply, but that didn't solve it... I guess my .avi files liked QCD's icon... and won't let go. lol :D

Looks like your other avi application doesn't know what it's doing when registering file associations. Registered AVI back with QCD, then unregister it using QCD. Then register it again with the other app.

Well I figured out what the problem was, you were right it wasn't QCD's fault. It seems that although video files are registered with Media Player Classic it doesn't attribute them an icon, so they remain with the previous one.
Anyway thanks for all the attention for such a minor thing :)
