Blackwell wrote it, but it became a big hit in about 1956 when Peggy Lee sang it. I think there was one other version before hers, I'm not sure

It is a Jazz standard...many, many artists have included it in their repitorie...one of the most notable interpretations was by Sarah Vaughn. Her version was recently remixed as part of the VERVE REMIXED 111 Album.

The instrument on the cover would make for an interesting skin.

I must say this new track on the upcoming Coldplay album, "Talk", is perhaps their best yet. Although the guitar thing in the song reminds me of a song by Kraftwerk

I didn't know they were coming out with a new one. They're a great group. I think that they are way underrated here in the States. I've been hooked on them ever since I first heard "Yellow".

I stumbled accross this gem from the Kill Bill Vol. 2 soundtrack. There are some other good ones on there.
Chingon was founded by Robert Rodriguez (director of El. Mariachi, Desperado). The music is just as good as the films.
